We have just heard the sad news that Bob Baldwin of The Wannabees died on Christmas Day. It’s sad at any time but particularly so on such a day and in such a year. Our thoughts are with his family.
Bob was a lovely, quiet, unassuming man and an excellent bowler who was very capable in any playing position. I had the pleasure of playing in the same interclub team with him on a few occasions.
A true gentleman.
He will be sadly missed.

Really sorry to learn about Bob’s passing ? He was a lovely man and will be greatly missed at the Club. Condolences to his family.

Sad news about Bob. He will be sadly missed. He was a regular at the Friday night Umbrella as long as Gloucester RFC did not have a home match! We found him a quiet, affable and friendly character. A great loss to us all.
